(Sorry I'm writing in English, easy to type.And I'm going to write a lot about London and hopefully some other cities in future.So why not.)

I'm not a typical traveler.But I did spend quite a long time studying, working and living in London.Now that I'm back to China, I go back there occasionally, just to feel again what I felt before and taste the same taste which I felt so normal back then, and yet, how sweet it feels now.

And I want my blog to be useful, to people who is planning to study there, work there or just want to pay a short visit...

For men who don't have a deep pocket and shop at Harrods or Selfridges confidently, I would highly recommend Jermyn Street.How I admire the old British style - impeccable cutting, superior material, and what's more important, you'll never find the "made in China" label.

Don't get me wrong, whenever possible, I try to buy things made from Chinese companies or at least from joint-ventures.E.g. I am using 相宜本草 on a trial basis, can't say that I highly recommend, but certainly it has not made my face go strangely red or white.

Anyway, back to my topic today, yes, if you can't afford Burberry or Armani, at least you can treat yourself with a decent Hackett overcoat, some T M Lewin shirts and ties and anything you can think of for men.... all of which can be found on this little Jermyn Street at the very heart of London, yet tucked away from the main shopping street of Piccadilly.

In Beijing, you part away a good RMB20, 000 for an overcoat at 国贸, which is near daytime robbery to me.And you pay one forth price or even much less at sales time for an equally or even more beautiful overcoat at Jermyn Street.The style is not trendy or chic, but it never goes out of time.And any man should have something traditional at least anyway.And who knows, you may find yourself more attractive to women if you put on a traditional English coat and wear a traditional man look. It certainly works on me.Em, now you know I’m not a man.
